Bradford on Avon to Host a New Live Music Festival

Bradford on Avon Town Council has organised a live music festival for the town for June.

The Bradford on Avon Live Music Festival will take place across the weekend of the 2 to 4 June and features bands and musicians from across a whole host of genres with some free and some ticketed events.

Councillor Katie Vigar, Mayor of Bradford on Avon said: “I’m very much looking forward to a fabulous music festival, with something for all music lovers on offer, in great venues within the town.

“I’m grateful to the volunteers, musicians and the Alex Moulton Charitable Trust for helping the Town Council put on another great community event for residents and visitors to enjoy.”

Details for the Bradford on Avon Live Music Festival can be found below:

Friday 2 June

Jack Mac’s Funk Pack performing in St Margaret’s Hall from 7pm.

Jack Mac has been playing music professionally for over a decade now and has collaborated with some of the UK’s and US’s finest up-and-coming musicians. Heavily influenced by the styles of New Orleans jazz and funk groups such as Dr John, Jon Cleary and Galactic, Jack Mac is also an admirer of the sounds of saxophonists Coleman Hawkins and Sonny Rollins, and jazz fusion groups The Headhunters and the Brecker Brothers. The result is a melting pot of musical genres that keeps every gig fresh and alive so no two performances are ever the same.
