People in Calne and Chippenham are being invited to join Churchill Retirement Living at its local developments for two special Winter Warmer events to raise funds for local charities.
Everyone is welcome to step out of the cold and into the warmth of the developments’ friendly Owners’ Lounges, where they can enjoy coffee, cake and a chat in return for a small donation. The events will take place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday 13th February (St Andrew’s Lodge in Chippenham) and Thursday 15th February (Orchard Lodge in Calne).
All of the money raised will go to two fantastic local charities chosen by Churchill apartment Owners and Colleagues: Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, Devizes (chosen by Chippenham), and Calne Debra UK which helps people living with the rare ‘Butterfly Skin’ condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
Caroline Haswell, Senior Marketing Manager for Churchill Retirement Living, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming people to our Winter Warmer events to raise funds for two excellent local charities, to help them both continue their vital work. Every penny counts, which is why we’re asking as many people as possible to come along and support the events and make a donation in return for the refreshments on offer. It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and community spirit on offer at our developments.”
