D&R Furnishers, one of the largest retailers of fabrics, furniture, carpets and flooring in the South West, are pleased to announce they are relocating from their original shop located at The Parade in Marlborough, and opening two new destination showrooms close-by on the A4 near Manton in early September.
The well-loved, family-run interiors retailer, which has been situated just a stone’s throw from Marlborough High Street since 1958, is renowned for bringing high-quality, inspiring interiorsand furnishings to homeowners in the heart of Wiltshire. Their new destination showrooms will provide customers with an enhanced retail experience, whilst enjoying superior customer service for which the brand is renowned.
Their first new showroom will be a comprehensive ‘Flooring Library’ outlet specialising in carpet and flooring displays from current brands such as Brintons, Crucial Trading, Amtico, Woodpecker and Westex. Their complimentary free-of-charge, measuring-up service will remain available to local customers.

Adjacent will be the second D&R Furnishers showroom which will showcase a range of furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, curtains, blinds, and accessories showcased in inspiring room-set displays. At the rear of the showroom, customers will find the ‘Designer Sample Room’, where they can explore an array of designer fabric brands and samples including the vintage country charms from Cheney Penrose and the latest designs from renowned British brands such as Colefax and Fowler, Sanderson, and Romo.
Another new room in the D&R Furnishers showroom is their ‘Fabric Roll & Trimmings’ library where customer can explore a wider selection of fabric options, trimmings and accompanying interior products such as poles, tracks, and lining options. D&R Furnishers’ free at-home measuring service for curtains, blinds and shutters will also continue.

D&R Furnishers Directors and staff will host a customer open day at the new showrooms with special offers and details announced closer to the time.
Their Parade shop will remain open until the relocation is complete with discounts continuing from their annual summer sale on all stock and special orders throughout July and August 2024.
