Kingbury Green Academy Celebrates Best Ever a Level Results

Kingsbury Green Academy, part of the Ascend Learning Trust, is celebrating their best ever A-Level results, with over 25% of grades being at the highest possible grades of A*, A and Distinction.

With this year’s results being the best the school has ever achieved, students will now be leaving Calne to study at some of the best universities in the country, including Bath University, Bristol University and Exeter University.

Principal of Kingsbury Green Academy, Jason Tudor, said, “I am incredibly proud of all KGA students for their effort, diligence and faith that hard work will pay off.  The fact that over a quarter of all grades are at A*, A or Distinction level shows that there is no limit to what students can achieve at KGA.  The students have proven once again why KGA Sixth Form is the number one Sixth Form of choice in the area.”

Jason, who will be leaving the school later this month after nine years as Principal, added: “These results are the final A level results of my tenure as KGA Principal and I couldn’t have wished for a better way to bow out.  I would like to thank the KGA staff for all their hard work, unwavering support and outstanding teaching, ensuring that our students receive the very best education possible.  Calne should be incredibly proud to have such a dedicated team working so hard for the young people of this area.”

The school is rightfully proud of all students, however outstanding results were achieved by:

Rhiannon – A*, A, A, Distinction
