Head to Corsham this summer for some free, family fun with two trails around the town and a special event at Springfield Rec.
From 22 July to 11 August, try and find the Lego people hiding where they shouldn’t be. Sponsored by Automattic Comics and Toy Shop, the trail will take you around the town’s great independent shops and eating places. Fill in your entry form with where you saw them, hand it in at the Town Hall and you could be in line for a prize.
Then, from 12-31 August, take part in the Corsham Walking Word Search in celebration of this year’s StoryTown festival of telling tales (18-20 October).
You’ll need to take a wander around the High Street to find the words and, again, there’ll be a great prize up for grabs for the young winners. And there’s more….
On 21 August, from 12pm onwards, head for Springfield Rec, Corsham’s fantastic recreation ground next to Springfield Campus on Beechfield Road, and you’ll find BMX displays, a parkour (free-running) demonstration (from 1-3pm) and training on the outdoor gym equipment from 2-7pm.
As well as the BMX track, parkour facility and outdoor gym, Springfield is home to the town’s skate park and a great play area.
You’ll find entry forms and more
details of all the events on the
