The Forge & Pheasant gets ready to give away 1795 meals to locals to celebrate their arrival in Wiltshire!
To celebrate The Forges Restaurant Group second venue, The Forge & Pheasant opening at Hartham Park, in Wiltshire, the team are getting ready to give away 1795 (ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE) meals from a specially curated ‘Pheasant’ menu between Monday 14th and Saturday 19th April on a first come first served basis.
1795 is the date of the completion of the main mansion house, an important milestone in the evolution of the Hartham Estate. The Forges Restaurant Group, who hail from Bristol, have recently launched their second restaurant on the Hartham Park Estate in Wiltshire, just east of Bath near Corsham. The house has a celebrated history whose most famous guest was Sir Winston Churchill but with new owners at the helm and a fresh direction with the Forges café group The Great Wiltshire Giveaway hopes to catch the imagination of new and loyal customers alike.
The 1795 ‘special menu’ includes the bestselling FORGES BREAKFAST and its veggie alternative, THE FIELD BREAKFAST (served until 11.30) and THE ‘PHEASANT’ PIE, a homemade Game pie, herby Colcannon mash & gravy, PARMESAN CRUMBED CHICKEN SCHNITZEL, or a SWEET POTATO, CHICKPEA & FETA SALAD (served from 12 until 4pm).
To claim your meal, the team are asking guests to follow @forgeandpheasant Instagram page, like the 1795 Giveaway post and to show this when they arrive at the restaurant.
Given the number of meals being shared the team are expecting to be busy but look forward to welcoming guests.
With ample parking, and a walk across the Hartham 50-acre estate, the experienced team are appealing to family groups, cycling tours, dog walkers and ramblers keen to enjoy the Cotswold countryside. There is pre-bookable dining space in The Snug available for private dining for up to eight and alfresco tables and chairs for warmer days.
