Trek the Grand Canyon – September 2018The adventure of a lifetime for The Forever Friends Appeal… Ever wondered what it’s like to stand on the edge of the world, looking out, knowing that you’ve just accomplished a challenge and made a difference to the lives of others? Now’s your chance!
The Forever Friends Appeal are looking for adventurous fundraisers to join their Canyons trekking team… where every step taken will support patients and their families cared for by the Royal United Hospitals Bath, when they need it most.
Departing on 8th September 2018, this eight day trekking challenge explores the Grand Canyon as well as Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon – three of South-West USA’s most majestic National Parks. There’s so much to discover along the hiking trails from colourful desert, spectacular rock formations to deep canyons and hanging gardens. Then after the days steps, the nights are spent camping under the moon and stars… and to top it off, the challenge will finish in the bright lights of Las Vegas!
Want to know more? Come along to the Trek Information Evening on Tuesday 23rd January, 6.30pm at the RUH.
There will be a talk and Q&A session from the trek leader as well as the charity, so that you can find out more about this once in a lifetime adventure. Plus, there’s absolutely no obligation to sign up on the night.
