WILTSHIRE antiques expert and tv presenter Paul Martin has joined family business Henry Aldridge & Son at the Devizes Auction House as their Head of Valuations.
The presenter is a regular on tv with programmes such as Flog It!, the Antiques Road Trip, Britain’s Hidden Heritage, The Curiosity Shop and many other long-standing BBC TV series. Paul also has a new antiques show coming out on Channel 5 in 2024 “Paul Martin’s Auction Showdown”.
Henry Aldridge & Son has a worldwide reputation particularly around Titanic and iconic memorabilia, fine art and antiques. Andrew particularly loves helping people with items which are quirky or unusual and has auctioned Elvis’s pyjamas, the original sheet music for Jingle Bells and the world’s first Christmas card!

Paul will be hosting a series of 2024 valuation days in landmark locations all over Wiltshire and the South West as well as regular inhouse days in the saleroom every Friday. His first valuation days are:
*Monday December 11 – The Little Lunch Box Café, High Street, Pewsey between 10am and 3pm.
*Monday January 8 – The George Inn, The Square, Mere, between 10am and 3pm.
*Tuesday January 16 – Trowbridge Civic Centre, St Stephen’s Place, Trowbridge between 10am and 3pm.
*Tuesday January 23 – The historic Castle & Ball Hotel, High Street, Marlborough between 11am and 3pm.
*Monday January 29 – Marsh Farm Hotel, Royal Wootton Bassett between 10am and 3pm.
