Wiltshire Sight Support

Wiltshire Sight is a local charity which works across Wiltshire and Swindon to support people living with sight loss.  Our Community Sight Loss team are here to help you adjust to living with sight loss, and to give you the support and tools you need to live your life the way you want to.

We offer support at monthly hubs across the region where you can find information and guidance on living well with sight loss, as well as demonstration and training on a range of useful resources. Trained Sight Loss Advisors are on hand at our hubs to assist and advise you. Other services we offer include social activities, technology training, a monthly e-newsletter, a twice-yearly magazine, an audio library, magnification advice and a befriending service for those who are isolated.  All our services are free of charge.

We also hold two free Eye Can exhibitions each year at various locations. Our exhibitions have many different exhibitors who showcase the latest in useful technology and daily living aids. Various charitable organisations will also offer valuable information about their services at our Eye Can events. We aim to cover everything related to sight loss under one roof at one time, so that you can find the support you need. At each Eye Can event there will also be a varied speaker programme and opportunities to meet new and old friends.

We would love for you to join us at our next Eye Can exhibition which is being held at the Guildhall in Salisbury on the 5th of October between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm. Please contact us to book your place or to find out more about our services and your closest Hub. We can be reached by phone on 01380 723682 or please email us at info@wiltshiresight.org
